Any child over 10 years of age is authorized a bedroom.

Two children of the opposite sex under the age of 6 years may share a bedroom.

When there are two children of the opposite sex (boy & girl) under the age of six years, the oldest child will be eligible for their own bedroom when he/she turns six years old.

Having two children residing with you automatically qualifies you for a three bedroom.

If bedroom requirements change due to a pregnancy, a signed statement from a physician is required.

Exceptions and Waivers Policy: Exceptions to policy will be considered on a case by case basis and Lewis-McChord Family Communities will work jointly with RCO making recommendations when necessary to the Garrison Commander. Requests for exceptions should be submitted in writing to the Housing Office.
